Happy Holidays & Season's Greetings

Happy December!

Today, I present to you my 2019 holiday art designs.

I was inspired by folk art and cut-out paper snowflakes that I often see around the holidays.

I completed most of the design work in Adobe Illustrator and then added the finishing touches of digital foil effects in Photoshop.

I ended up printing my postcards with Moo and using their gold foil customization option. I printed 5 different colour versions and was very happy with the results!

(In the version I sent in for print, I did not have the digital foil effect on the tree)

If you'd like to try printing with Moo, you can get 20% off your first order with this {referral link}.

Prints are merchandise are available through my online shops below:

2017 Holiday Cards

Good day!

This winter season I'm finding that I don't have enough time to make a new holiday card "from scratch", but I'm happy to say that I've managed to do a little re-purposing to make something simple, but something I enjoy, to send to my close family and friends.

I've gone back a couple of years into my archive of work to dig up an illustration which I didn't really end up sharing, cleaned it up, and added text.
Originally the image was intended to be a 2 page spread in a children's book. The theme was enchantment of frosted windows and finding imagery there. Can you spot some hidden creatures in the frost?

I've made two versions of the holiday card - one which says "Happy Holidays!" and the other which says "Season's Greetings!"

And now, the designs are available on my Society6 and RedBubble shops. I've also adapted other sections of the image to suitable for things like scarves, mugs, phone cases, and etc.

Finally, please find some of the creatures I've hidden in the image. :)

crab

fish

jellyfish

seahorse

squirrel
Thanks for visiting and have a great day!

Happy Holidays

A little last minute holiday art :)

I've had so many ideas for this year's holiday cards, but alas - they didn't get executed in time. They'll be good to go for next year though =) But I did manage to make this couple of patterned words.

7.5 x 10.5"

about 5.25 x 4.5"
Pieces are completed on Bristol Smooth paper with: red 005 Prismacolor fine line marker, Kohinoor vermillion waterproof ink and white gouache. All and drawn, and touched up a tiny bit in Photoshop.

Merchandise available at my Society6 and RedBubble shops

And here are some other versions of "Happy Holidays"
