Hello,
It's almost been a year since my last blog post, but let's not dwell on that.
In an effort to escape the unpleasant realities of 2020 I decided partake in another Inktober type challenge.
I did not follow the official Inktober daily prompts, but I did take inspiration from Emily Hare's #Strangetober challenge, Maria Dimova's #ImageOfMaiden challenge and various fantasy themes in general.
In order to make work manageable for my schedule, I again worked small. All of the paintings are 4 x 6 inches (10 x
15cm), or smaller.
As is now my personal tradition, I used black micron pens (003, 005, 01), black and white
waterproof inks, as well as white crayons and salt
for some final touches and texture effects.
In total, I made 30 pieces and used day 31 to rest. View the images bigger by clicking through below.
